With such a long lead up to Christmas, it gives us plenty of time to get creative and plan some cool activities.
As you'd expect, there have been plenty of Christmas dinners to attend. We've having our own of course but have also been honoured to attend those organised by Carmarthenshire Peoples First and Mencap to name a few. It's also good to see staff having their own nights out too. We'll look forward to seeing the incriminating photos in the next ILS newsletter!
Each residential service has been busy with their decorations too. From amazing hanging icicles to Christmas trees made of pasta, there's been no end to the imagination on show. And with so much being hand made by our service users, we couldn't be prouder of their contribution and the transformation that's taken place in our services.
Not to be left out, head office will also be making it's contribution next week. They're planning to bring all our people together for an hours carol singing. The piano is in situ, the tree decorated and the lights are ready, so that's one event everybody is looking forward to.
With staff rotas settled some weeks ago, activity planners well thought through and good financial planning, it's sure to be our most successful Christmas ever.
